LEADERSHIP SEMINARThe HAIL Officiating Program leadership seminar is designed to train those who will train, administer and otherwise oversee officials and officiating programs within their leagues. The seminar is run at no cost to attendees.
Who: Referee In Chief’s, League Assigners, League Managers or executives, Top Officials, Provincial Inline Committee. (Each league must have 1 representative attend the seminar)
When: March 21st, 2010
Where: Red Deer, Alberta, Hockey Alberta Office Board Room
What: Improve overall Officials Program
Certify clinic instructors
Playing rules (changes, additions, etc.)
Official’s clinic agenda
Selection criteria for elite opportunities
Mentorship/ Supervision program
Officials ClinicsInline Hockey Officials Clinics will be held throughout the province in the month of April. This clinics are typically run by league RIC’s with support of the HAIL RIC where needed.
Elite Officiating OpportunitiesHAIL officials are consistently evaluated through their performances at various events. Officials are identified and mentored through both tournament play and the Team Alberta Program. Some of these programs include:

Alberta Summer Games Program
Canada West Cup Program (Camps and Competition)
Team Alberta Tryout Camp
State Wars
IIHF World In Line Hockey Championship (potential opportunity)
