Hockey Alberta and the Hockey Alberta Foundation have announced the 2010 Alberta Hockey Hall of Fame Inductees.
The following 3 individuals, 2 teams and 1 organization were selected by the Alberta Hockey Hall of Fame selection committee to enter the Alberta Hockey Hall of Fame in 2010:
Achievement Category
Jack Evans (Deceased) – Former NHL player and coach (Wayne, Alta)
1977-1980 University of Alberta Golden Bears – Won 3 consecutive CIS National Championships
1970-1971 Red Deer Rustlers – Won the inaugural Canadian Junior A Championship
Builder Category
Anne Hayden – Former Hockey Alberta South Director (Vauxhall, Alta)
Bob Bartlett – Former General Manager of the WHL’s Lethbridge Hurricanes (Lethbridge, Alta)
Pioneer Category
Edmonton Journal/Calgary Herald – Sponsored the inaugural Alberta Amateur Provincial
